Our History

From restoring historic landmarks like the Rosenwald School, to hosting community events like our Annual Chili Cook-Off, to launching one of Georgia’s only Junior Historical Societies, we are committed to honoring our roots and sharing our stories with future generations.

Rent the Historic Rosenwald School

Looking for a unique space for your next event or party? The Historic Rosenwald School in Cusseta is available for rent! This beautifully preserved 3,000 sq. ft. venue features a spacious meeting room, full kitchen with double sink, fridge, deep freezer, and plenty of countertop space, as well as handicap-accessible restrooms. With 100 new folding chairs, 15 new tables, ample parking, and a peaceful, private location just minutes from downtown, it’s the perfect setting for gatherings. Enjoy great natural light, cold A/C, and the charm of untouched historic elements—including a stunning hand-painted mural honoring the school’s legacy.
